JOHN HANEY is the co-creator of Trivial Pursuit, the iconic board game that became one of the most successful and influential cultural phenomena in gaming history. After an eclectic life spanning international hockey, theatre, and film, he joined his brother Chris in 1979 to help turn a simple idea into a global brand that has sold over 100 million copies worldwide. Blessed with four children and three grandchildren, he lives with his wife, Velvet, on a farm in the Caledon Hills, just north of Toronto.
